Where to Start?

You’ll want to consider a few things if you’re just getting into games. Lets’ cover the basics to get you started.

Genre

There are all types of Genres of games, but here are some basics.

• Fantasy
• Sci-Fi
• Modern
• Futuristic

Player Age

Kids, Teenagers, Young Adults or Seasoned Humans. Some games are best played with certain maturity and experience levels in mind. This might not just be content but complexity as well.

Complexity

Some games are simpler than others but that doesn’t make them any less fun. Complexity can often play a part when considering Player Ages, their Previous Experience with similar games, as well as Game Duration. Simpler games usually take less time to play.

Group Size

• Small 1 – 2 Players
• Medium 2 – 4 Players
• Large 5 – 10 Players
• Massive 10+ Players

Game Duration

• Bite Size – Less then 15 minutes
• Game Night – About an Hour
• An Afternoon – 1-2 Hours
• All Day – 6+ Hours
